There is a magic that exists in the space where breath and movement connect.

 

By connecting the breath that gives us life to the body that we live in, we come back to our true selves. Yoga gives us the opportunity to loosen the grasp of the mind, reconnecting to the spiritual and physical parts of ourselves and creating a space for healing and transformation.

By creating and holding a safe space, I invite students to connect with their breath, the present moment, and whatever they are feeling, experiencing, or working through. Through challenging, mindful movement connected to breath and intention, the yoga that I share is healing, grounding, and transformative.

I work with students one-on-one, in small and large groups, and am currently running trauma-informed yoga and mindful meditation programs at women’s and homeless shelters, community food centres, low-income housing units, youth programs, and long term care facilities across the city.
